Frozen in Time

This pine needle was frozen under the ice.  Waiting for spring like the rest of us.


While not a great picture, does show how clear and sharp a semi-wide lens can be close up.  And handheld as well.

There is wide glass, fast glass and long glass, ... and finally there is Zeiss glass.

If I could only keep one, ... it would be a Zeiss.
