2012 and 2013 have been rough years for me. Changing jobs, moving from Ottawa to Hamilton, and ending up on your own isn't the easiest thing to do.
That being said, things are looking up, and life is way too short to be unhappy.
A couple of weeks ago I took a Sunday to drive and to walk around and think about where I want to go in my life. I visited Dundurn Castle in Hamilton and then wondered across the street. And this is not where I want to be just yet.

A couple of days later I got a text from my nephew asking if I wanted to come down to Houston for the 4th of July weekend. How could I say no? Airfares are cheap and you only live once.
