Front Door

Since I made the comment of how I thought the front doors didn't quite "fit" with what my idea of a cathedral's front door should look like, I thought I would show you and let you decide for yourself.

No wanting to sound too harsh, ... it did let light in and I am sure it helps to keep the warmth in and the cold out.

I guess in a way it reminds me of that movie Stargate.  A portal to the past perhaps.

I had expected massive, thick oak doors.
