Tax Time

Tax time in Canada and thankfully this year I got a refund. I thought that since I worked so hard last year I would reward myself with a small gift. And that gift was a Nikon D7100.

I purchased the D7100 to become my underwater camera. What I love about it is that I can use all of my old manual focus lenses with this camera body. And the D7100 and the underwater housing will cost less than an underwater housing for the D3s.

That being said the D7100 is an amazing camera. I won't be selling my D3s any time soon however, and it will remain my main camera.

The image quality without the anti-aliasing filter is incredible. The photo below was take with my NIKKOR-N 24mm f/2.8 lens which made somewhere between 1967 and 1971.
