The Saturday after I picked up my D7100, I headed out trying to find a "haunted" railroad tunnel in St. Catharines, Ontario. I wanted to try out the low light and video capabilities of the new camera.
So after wondering aimlessly around fields for four hours, I stumble across a broken green garbage bag of trash some one has thrown away.
So I grab the D7100, focus on this frost covered teddy bear, holding my breath to see the incredible detail in the shot, ... and I fogot the memory card back at home. Arrrgghh, what an idiot.
So these photos where taken with my iPhone.
I don't know what kind of parent would throw this kind of stuff away. And I can't comment on the decision because I can only guess at the reasons, or who did it. God knows my mother kept everything me and my sisters ever made or owned.
Possibly a bad divorce? or perhaps the death of a child? Who knows. I picked up the Christmas ornament and it had "Jessica" written in black magic marker on the other side. Maybe the was Jessica's teddy bear? I hope Jessica and everyone is OK.
And, if I eventually find the "haunted" tunnel, I will upload the GPS co-ordinates for the next person.
